24 Days Left of 2009

As promised, I am trying some experimental thinking for the remainder of this year, 2009. Hmmmm–it’s actually tough to come up with positive suggestions as a result of, or despite of, our experiences with IF.

Humility comes to mind today and the famous words of Mother Theresa, “The path to humility is through humiliation.” Isn’t that just lovely…did she ever say anything that wasn’t brilliant?  This IF process has in fact come with an enormous weight of humiliation for me, which has led to a certain degree of  humility, and therein lies the silver lining . How so? Well, in my opinion, possessing true humility leads to spiritual strength, which ultimately can lead to real happiness, which I believe, can only come from within.
