It’s kind of funny actually, back when I was single, I used to wonder what I would spend my time thinking about if I ever got married..now I know. Ah yes, one of my favorite subjects, the obligatory baby shower–anyone have any of those? You know, the childhood friend or the daughter of your mom’s best friend and it’s the frickin social event of the season and anyone connected by six degrees of whoever will be there. What are we supposed to do? How about stay at home and have a shower of my own with jack daniels and Jim Beam?
But seriously, that’s not the answer, well not a good long term answer anyway, but I can dream. I decided not to attend this particular shower because these days torture isn’t my thing so I respectfully declined, and then burned the invitation. Just kidding! But hey, I can’t help the urge. Thank God for anonymity…
